The Coordinator in our Shared Living Service will lead a team of Support Workers, engage with families, community stakeholders, and work closely with the individuals we support. You will be responsible for overseeing staff to ensure they deliver on the highest quality of care and enjoyable life experiences for the people we support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Support Workers to deliver high-quality care and support to individuals with Autism.
- Engage with families and community stakeholders to ensure collaborative partnerships and effective service coordination.
- Develop and implement personalized support plans for individuals with disabilities, emphasizing creativity, flexibility, and a person-centered approach to enhance quality of life and independence.
- Manage relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and client care standards to ensure the highest level of care is maintained.
Requirements:
- Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in the Human Services field.
- Extensive practical experience in the field of Human Services, demonstrating a deep understanding of client needs and a proven track record of effective service delivery.
- Experience in leading teams and managing people, with a strong focus on staff development and coaching.
- Proficient in communicating effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Possess a valid and unrestricted driver's license.
