We are seeking an enthusiastic Speech Pathologist to support students across preschool, primary, and secondary school environments, as well as community-based programs serving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing and providing interventions for individuals with disabilities and communication needs in the school/education setting.
  • Collaborating with educators to implement evidence-based strategies for effective communication.
  • Providing professional development opportunities for educators to enhance their skills in communication strategies.
  • Assisting clients and educators with assistive technology assessment, recommendations, and applications.
  • Documenting and reporting client progress and program outcomes in a timely and high-quality manner.
  • Maintaining a caseload aligned to student-specific goals and objectives.
  • Attending meetings, supervision sessions, and professional development activities to stay up-to-date on best practices.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field.
  • Prior experience working with diverse populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • Professional registration (e.g. AHPRA/SPA).
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, and International Police Check (if applicable).
  • Drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle.
