Job Overview

The Indigenous Health Workforce Traineeship Program Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing the coordination of the IHWT Program across Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHS) in Western Australia.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic planning to increase the number of skilled Aboriginal people working in the Aboriginal health care sector;
  2. Creating and implementing viable career pathways in the health and community services sector for Aboriginal people;
  3. Enhancing the capacity of ACCHS to provide culturally appropriate health care to Aboriginal people.
  • Requirements:
Proven experience in program/project administration, recruitment, training, or related fields;Understanding of the vocational education and training (VET) sector and qualifications delivered by Registered Training Organisations (RTOs);Strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and effective time management;Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;Ability to plan and coordinate workload effectively;Strong written communication skills for drafting correspondence, editing documents, and writing reports.

Additional Requirements Include:

  • Unrestricted WA driver's license;
  • High-level discretion and confidentiality.
