We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team at Johns Lyng Group. As a Restoration Technician, you will play a critical role in providing restoration services to clients whose properties have been damaged by extenuating circumstances such as fire, flood, or malicious damage.
Key Responsibilities- Attend water damage, fire damage & mould jobs to assess and mitigate damage
- Perform all areas of mitigation & restoration works as required, including equipment installation & monitoring
- Provide peace of mind to clients in stressful situations by delivering exceptional customer service
- Liaise with internal office staff, project managers & external clients to ensure seamless communication
- Prepare & present damage, inspection & inventory lists reports for insurers to facilitate efficient claims processing
- Complete all necessary job documentation to maintain accurate records
- Work a rotating on-call roster, including afterhours shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage
- Proven examples of demonstrating drive and energy in a previous role
- Extremely motivated and able to think outside the box to deliver exceptional results
- Professionalism, proactive nature & good work ethic to ensure high-quality work
- Previous experience in hands-on roles ideal, however not essential
- Ability to work autonomously & collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate and thorough work
- Physical fitness to perform tasks that require manual labor
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills to maintain accurate records and reports
- Working with Children Check or ability to obtain
- Valid & clean driver license to operate company vehicles
