The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Childcare Educator to join our team at Belgravia Leisure. As a Childcare Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality educational programs and services to children aged 6 weeks to school age.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate educational programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of a safe and healthy environment that meets legislative requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and accidents in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the centre's goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in children's services, including a Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of the Children's Services Regulations and ability to adhere to legislative requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality services.
  • Current Working With Children Check, Senior First Aid & CPR, and Police Check.
