Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced tax professional to join our team. As a key member, you will work closely with clients to provide specialist tax advisory expertise on global mobility arrangements, FBT, payroll tax, superannuation, employee share schemes, remuneration planning and salary sacrifice arrangements.

About the Role

In this role, you will consult and advise on a wide variety of FBT, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, ESS, PAYG and employee versus contractor matters, including audits and cross border issues. You will also provide international assignment consulting and compliance services across a range of clients and matters, prepare FBT returns using specialist software, review and develop FBT policies and procedures for employers, prepare and review payroll tax returns, undertake compliance reviews and 'Health Checks' for employers' employment tax obligations, design and implement share plans for C-suite and all other levels, and work collaboratively with data and technology experts to help design automated tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult and advise on FBT, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, ESS, PAYG and employee versus contractor matters
  • Provide international assignment consulting and compliance services
  • Prepare FBT returns using specialist software
  • Review and develop FBT policies and procedures for employers
  • Prepare and review payroll tax returns
  • Undertake compliance reviews and 'Health Checks' for employers' employment tax obligations

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar or complimentary role
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work independently
  • Strong research and legal interpretation skills
  • Proactive approach to client relationships and cross selling of services
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Degree qualification, majoring in Accounting, Tax, Commerce, Economics, Finance or Law
