Global Network Architect

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex network solutions to drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network architecture, with experience in Juniper-based WAN solutions and multicast design. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective network designs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Designing, configuring, and implementing complex WAN solutions tailored for real-time market feeds and multicast data.
  2. Collaborating with teams to gather network requirements and translate them into effective network designs.
  3. Maintaining various multi-vendor production network environments critical to the business.
  4. Developing and maintaining network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  5. Troubleshooting network-related incidents, outages, and escalations to minimize downtime.

You will need to stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to network WAN technologies. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of networking experience, with at least 5 years of design and implementation of complex Juniper-based global MPLS WAN networks.
  • Deep understanding of WAN protocols and technologies, such as BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, VPLS, VPNs, and QoS.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Juniper networking products, including Junos OS, MX Series routers, EX/QFX Series switches, and SRX Series firewalls.
  • Proficiency in Python programming and modern configuration management tools.

This is a full-time position that offers remote flexibility one day a week. Some weekends and after-hours work may be required.
