Hotel Receptionist Role

We are seeking an experienced front office receptionist to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure smooth guest check-in and check-out processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest accounts.
  • Handle telephone reservations and internet distribution channels efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through professional phone manner.
  • Respond to guest enquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Direct internal and external phone calls effectively.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced front office environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with guests and colleagues alike.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including reservation management tools.
  • Absolutely required: strong telephone etiquette and people skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, think critically and solve problems under pressure.
  • Professional appearance and presentation standards.
  • Able to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in the workplace.
  • Positive attitude and sense of humour essential.
  • Effective multitasking and time management skills.
