About your role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our maintenance and manufacturing team at our Spotswood facility. This newly created role will support our preventative maintenance program, focusing on component change out events for our customers' fleet. You will be responsible for managing and planning these events in line with our maintenance plan and ensuring compliance.

As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong background in management, production, or an engineering discipline, with at least 5 years of experience in a maintenance, production, or plant maintenance planning environment. Rail experience is highly preferred. Additionally, you should possess excellent systems and software skills, including Excel and reporting tools.

The successful applicant will interact with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial forecasting and short-term maintenance program forecasts. They will also manage third-party suppliers, drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensure quality standards are met, and oversee the fleets rotable components pool.

About you:

  • You hold a trade qualification and/or tertiary qualification in management, production management, and/or an engineering discipline.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a maintenance, production, and/or plant maintenance planning environment, preferably in rail.
  • You possess strong systems and software skills, including Excel and reporting tools.
