Telehealth Medical Practitioner Role Overview

This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced telehealth environment, delivering high-quality consultations to patients across diverse backgrounds. As a medical practitioner, you will be responsible for managing clinical assessments, prescriptions, and follow-up consults. You will also have the chance to work closely with nurses and doctor support teams to streamline care and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver quality telehealth consultations to a varied patient base
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments, including prescribing medication as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance in a digital-first environment
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and service efficiency
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Unrestricted AHPRA registration (minimum PGY4)
  • Experience in emergency, urgent care, high-volume GP, or telehealth settings highly regarded
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to handle 10–15 minute consults
  • Familiarity with privacy laws, RTPM, S8 regulation, and medico-legal obligations
  • Strong clinical judgment with evidence-based approach
