Leading Australian Legal Team

We are seeking an experienced legal professional to lead our Australian legal team, providing strategic guidance and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Australian legal team and manage direct reports.
- Provide expert advice on company law, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, development, construction and operational matters.
- Liaise with national, regional and local authorities, project contract counterparties, joint venture partners and other relevant third parties.
- Review, negotiate and provide legal assistance in connection with acquisitions/disposals of renewable energy projects and joint ventures in Australia.
- Review and negotiate development, construction and operations contracts.
- Ensure compliance with project financing arrangements and liaise with lenders and their legal advisers.
- Manage and maintain accurate records for Cubico's Australian entities.
- Provide legal assistance in respect of re-organisations, restructurings, business transfers and liquidations affecting Cubico's Australian entities.
- Work closely with the Associate General Counsel based in the UK and external counsel.
This is a senior role that requires strong leadership and analytical skills. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality results.
