Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Manager to join our National Clients & Markets Communications team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the communications and marketing strategy and implementation for a portfolio of the firm's key sectors and the Sydney office.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing strategic communications plans to promote the BDO brand and meet the needs of our people and clients.
  • Leading the planning and delivery of content marketing strategies for portfolio areas, aligned to firm strategy and BD objectives.
  • Partnering with the BD and client experience teams to identify content opportunities based on the client journey.
  • Mentoring junior team members and supporting the Senior Manager, Communications with team pastoral care.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, public relations or similar.
  • Previous experience within a similar role (within professional services would be beneficial but not essential).
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
  • The ability to develop rapport at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • High level interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
  • The ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
