About the Role:

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chef to join our team at Kids Club Killara, located in Sydney. As a key member of our centre, you will play a vital role in creating healthy menus that cater to the diverse needs of our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop and implement nutritious meal plans for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
  • To work closely with our educators to ensure that meals are prepared in accordance with our child-safe food handling procedures.
  • To maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety within our kitchen environment.
  • To participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of new menu ideas.
About You:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef who is committed to providing exceptional service to our children and families. To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Extensive experience in commercial cookery, preferably in an early childhood setting.
  • A strong knowledge of nutrition and meal planning for young children.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A current Food Safety and Handlers (Health and Community) Certificate.
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (desirable).
Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of approximately $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a generous salary, we offer a range of benefits including:
