About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MPU Operator to join our team at Incitec Pivot Limited. As an MPU Operator, you will be responsible for operating an Open Cut MPU in a safe and efficient manner to provide a quality product for the purpose of blasting at the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate an Open Cut MPU to manufacture explosives in a safe and efficient manner.
- Deliver emulsion-based explosives in alignment with contracted services supplied on site.
- Perform basic maintenance on all on-site equipment.
- Complete all required paperwork.
Requirements
- Operational experience as a qualified MPU Operator or demonstrated equipment operation experience on an active blast bench.
- Commitment to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
- HR Driver's License (essential) / NSW UHL (essential) / Forklift (HRWL) Licence (desirable).
- RII Qualification in Mobile Mixing Explosives / RII Qualification in Support Shot firing.
- Excellent communication skills, supportive team member with a positive attitude.
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize blasting schedules and operational duties.
- Good computer literacy, and aptitude to learn and use site-specific software.
