About This Position

We are seeking experienced Mechanical Operations Managers to join a prestigious mining project in Western Australia.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will have demonstrable recent experience in managing the safe and efficient operation of track mounted crushers and screens on top-tier client sites.

  • Evaluate operational performance and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with maintenance personnel to implement routine maintenance programs and schedule preventative maintenance tasks
  • Monitor wear parts life (crusher and screen consumables) and report costs to the Project Manager monthly
  • Assess, order and monitor crusher parts and consumables
  • Authorize all crushing personnel timesheets ensuring accurate hours are recorded
  • Conduct performance reviews annually and provide constructive feedback to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
  • Personally inspect and monitor high-risk activities
  • Report all incidents and accidents to the Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate operational performance and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity

- Collaborate with maintenance personnel to implement routine maintenance programs and schedule preventative maintenance tasks

- Monitor wear parts life (crusher and screen consumables) and report costs to the Project Manager monthly

Requirements:
