About the Role
As an Employment Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to manage a caseload of participants and provide tailored support that empowers them to achieve sustainable employment outcomes.
- Deliver services using the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) Model — a highly effective approach to employment for people with mental illness.
- Support participants through every step of their journey: vocational profiling, job search, resume and interview preparation, placement, post-placement support and ongoing support.
- Strive to exceed individual and team performance targets, delivering high-quality employment outcomes and contributing to the overall success of the service.
- Build strong partnerships with local employers to create inclusive job opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with NDIS and community providers, ensuring wrap-around supports for participants' wellbeing.
- Monitor outcomes, keep accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement in service delivery.

What You Will Need
- A relevant Certificate III or higher qualification in Employment Services, Community Services, Mental Health, or related field.
- Experience in employment services, mental health support, or disability services.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with participants, their supports, and employers.
- Business development skills and local employer connections.
- Current driver's licence and your own vehicle.
- Ability to obtain all required clearances (NDIS, Working with Children, Police Check).
