About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated professional to fill an entry-level role as Business Support Assistant/Receptionist.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow their career in administration and customer service.
The successful candidate will provide exceptional support services to residents, relatives, visitors, and other employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative assistance to maximize operational efficiency.
- Answer phone calls and maintain a high standard of reception area presentation.
- Coordinate new resident onboarding and departure processes daily.
- Support the utilization of business systems and manage records effectively.
- Deliver administrative and customer services to agreed standards, ensuring quality and continuity.
- Provide administrative support to the Management Team.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, training sessions, and interviews.
- Respond to everyday enquiries from colleagues and customers professionally.
- Coordinate timely placement and closure of purchase orders efficiently.
Requirements:
- Able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Highly organized with strong planning skills.
- Able to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and quality management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous experience working in a large Aged Care Facility (desirable).
