**Wine Connoisseur Wanted**

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Wine Connoisseur to join our team at Peppina, a signature restaurant located in The Tasman Hotel. As a Wine Connoisseur, you will be responsible for serving wine and champagne, offering expertise on origin, vintage, and styles, managing the wine list and MICROS system, and suggesting wine pairings for our menu items.

You will attend tastings, build vendor relationships, request new products, and create enticing wine lists and promotions. Your role also involves monitoring and maintaining the wine cellar, training staff, ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws, and maintaining inventory.

About You:

- You will have experience working as a Wine Connoisseur in similar restaurants or hotels
- Genuine interest and knowledge of food and beverage products sustainable with wine knowledge
- Ability to gauge customers' preferences, delivering a unique drinking experience
- Strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills
- Immaculate personal presentation standards and excellent attention to detail
- Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
- Wine and Spirit Education Trust or Court of Master Sommeliers certificate (desirable)
- Full working rights in Australia
