Key Role in Retail

We are currently seeking a talented Department Manager to join our team. As a key player in the retail industry, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of your department, ensuring that it is exceptionally presented, welcoming and engaging for customers, team members and community.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, with direct leadership experience and the ability to lead, coach and develop their team to meet sales targets, cost control and rostering requirements. They will also be able to look ahead, energise their team to deliver with pride, and ensure that Coles' visual merchandising, safety, compliance and stock management standards are met.

In addition, they will be customer obsessed, continually seeking to better understand our diverse customers, and drive a one team culture which celebrates success and puts team members health, safety and wellbeing first.
