Visual Effects Artist

As a visual effects artist, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for creating stunning visuals and graphics for all promotional content.
The purpose of this role is to operate an Autodesk Flame system to provide high-end compositing, chroma-keying, and special effects for video deliverables. You will work closely with promo producers and directors to add polish and flair to our productions, while also managing project timelines and communicating effectively with key management and production staff.
This is a unique opportunity to join a stable and ongoing role working on varied and challenging projects that could range from making a dog drive a tractor to creating 3D dragons flying over the Ninja Warrior course.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Autodesk Flame software, including plug-ins, to create realistic compositions
- Manage project timelines and communicate regularly with key management and production staff
- Collaborate with promo producers and directors to add polish and flair to productions
- Develop creative solutions to make our work stand out from the crowd
- Mentor and train junior members of the team
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in Flame Compositing, ideally at a senior level, within TV Promotions or Post Production
- Demonstrated experience working on high-end TV commercials or large-scale promo launches
- Technical skills of compositing greenscreen footage and 3D elements to create realistic compositions
- High-level operational knowledge of Autodesk Flame software, including plug-ins
- Strong skills in animation and editing to audio
- Relevant tertiary qualifications such as a degree in Visual Art/Design or equivalent
