We are seeking highly skilled Medical Secretaries to join our team at the Icon Cancer Centre Wesley, supporting our Medical Oncologists and Haematologists.

As a Medical Secretary, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to patients, their carers', other external clients as well as your colleagues.

  • Welcoming patients, collecting and entering personal details
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries
  • Setting up consulting rooms
  • Entering and processing patient billing (Private Health and Medicare)
  • Maintaining and managing patient information
  • Supporting Icon's WHS Officers and committees to effectively carry out their responsibilities
  • Modelling and promoting Icon's vision and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to medical professionals
  • Collections of personal details and scheduling appointments
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of patient information
