Job Title: Support Worker

Key Position Overview

This role presents a diverse and rewarding opportunity for an individual to provide comprehensive support services to clients at our site location, working collaboratively with our team to create a positive impact in the community.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver client-centered support consistent with case plans
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure provision of accommodation services adhering to established quality standards
  • Provide client support using trauma-informed care practices
  • Safely manage client flow and visitors in the building
  • Respect and uphold clients' rights, demonstrating a non-judgmental and inclusive attitude
  • Assist and/or supervise client activities, such as groups and programs
  • Collaborate with service staff to meet client needs and provide accurate information and practical support
  • Transport clients as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A relevant qualification or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Sound judgment and ability to act appropriately in crisis and emergency situations
  • Current first aid certificate
