Job Opportunity: Mechanical Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Project Manager to join our team at Harbinger Network Inc. in a top-tier Mechanical Contractor based in the Nova Scotia area.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead mid to large mechanical retrofit construction projects and contribute to the company's reputation for reliability and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead mechanical piping installations and ensure projects are executed on time and within budget.
  • Manage project teams, including field and project management experience, with a focus on non-residential projects.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including design build and bid spec jobs in the institutional and commercial markets.
  • Provide superior management skills, including planning, organizing, and leading project teams.
  • Ensure superior organizational skills, including analysis, accuracy, and attention to detail in project execution.
  • Interpret specifications and drawings for mechanical projects and provide technical guidance to project teams.
  • Lead project teams in providing management and technical guidance for estimators and project coordinators.
  • Develop and maintain excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and project teams.
  • Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Lead and develop strong team leadership skills to drive project success.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical construction as a project manager.
  • Experience in design build and bid spec jobs in the institutional and commercial markets.
  • Superior management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong team leadership skills.
  • Expertise in mechanical piping installations and project execution.

Salary Range: $100K-$120K depending on experience.
