Casual Primary Teaching Role

About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated casual primary teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will work across K–6 year levels, supporting students in their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a willingness to uphold and support the College's Statement of Faith in all aspects of the role.
  • Knowledge of and strong commitment to child safety in an educational setting, including awareness of mandatory reporting obligations and safe practices when working with children and families.
  • Proven ability to align professional practice with the AITSL Teacher Standards.
  • Capacity to integrate a Christian perspective into curriculum and classroom practice.
  • Evidence of the following behavioural competencies: Working with People – Builds positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues; shows empathy and contributes to a supportive team environment.
  • Adhering to Principles and Values – Demonstrates integrity and upholds the Christian ethos of the College.
  • Planning and Organising – Plans effectively, meets deadlines, and manages classroom responsibilities; monitors and communicates progress.
  • Presenting and Communicating Information – Communicates clearly with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Adapting and Responding to Change – Adjusts positively to changing circumstances and student needs.
