Job Title: Food Service Team Member

We are seeking a part-time food service team member to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and work in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

This role involves assisting with food preparation, serving meals to customers, and maintaining kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with food preparation tasks e.g. peeling/chopping vegetables, making sandwiches & salads
  • Friendly customer service
  • Plating and serving meals to our diverse customer base
  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen & dining areas
  • Supporting functions and conferences
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, security and safety practices

Requirements

  • Prior experience in all aspects of kitchen operations and service
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and take direction
  • Reliability and flexibility for various days and hours
  • A motivated and enthusiastic attitude
  • Strong food safety practices
  • Compliance with OH&S and food safety regulations
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment during peak service periods
