**Opportunity Overview**

We are seeking versatile Food & Beverage Attendants to enhance our vibrant conference and events team, delivering exceptional customer service across multiple settings.

Australia's leading resorts in conference and events host sporting groups, themed gala events, and weddings. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on small and large conferences & events, showcasing your adaptability and ability to multitask.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Greet and interact with guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Take orders and provide table service, maintaining high standards of food and beverage knowledge.
  • Beverage service - wine, beer, and spirit knowledge and service, including bar setup, service, and pack-down.
  • Barista coffee making, preparing high-quality beverages for our guests.
  • Set and clear tables, maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
  • Menu knowledge and explanation, assisting guests in making informed choices.
  • POS and cash handling, managing transactions efficiently and accurately.

**Requirements for Success:**

  • Availability to work 3+ shifts per week on a rotating roster, covering various time slots, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of food and beverage operations.
  • RSA Certificate, essential for serving alcohol responsibly.
  • Table service order taking, waitering skills in la carte, alternate drop, set menu, buffet, and other formats.
  • Barista coffee making skills and experience, preparing high-quality beverages.
  • Bar and beverage knowledge and experience, pouring wine, beer, and mixing drinks.
  • Ability to carry heavy loads, such as trays of drinks and plates, while maintaining excellent physical fitness.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, interacting with guests effectively and clearly explaining food and beverage menus.
  • POS experience, managing transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, following direction and contributing to a positive team culture.
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent personal presentation, reflecting positively on the organization.
