Job Overview

The Clinical Lead position plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents and fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive resident care addressing medical, physical, and emotional needs, ensuring optimal comfort and quality of life.
  • Lead and supervise a team of healthcare professionals, promoting a collaborative environment and effective communication.
  • Develop, implement, and review individual care plans for residents, prioritizing their unique needs and goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication administration, adhering to established schedules and protocols.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with residents' families or legal guardians, involving them in care decisions as appropriate.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and critical incidents, upholding the highest standards of care.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration is required.
  • At least 2 years' experience in aged care as a Registered Nurse is essential.
  • Proficiency in aged care accreditation standards and care planning processes is necessary.
  • Expertise in medication administration, wound care, and clinical excellence is highly valued.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are crucial.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement is essential.
