Effective risk management is a vital component of business success. As a Project Risk Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that our organization's risk management frameworks are upheld.

This role involves providing support and expertise to our Core Modernisation Program, working closely with the Infrastructure workstream. You will be accountable for identifying, assessing, and tracking risks throughout their lifecycle, ensuring that our procedures are adhered to.

As a specialist in risk and assurance, you will provide advisory services on matters related to risk, managing delivery and delivered risks in line with our Risk and Compliance Management Framework. Your multifaceted skill set will complement project managers, actively engaging in risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include fostering a risk-conscious atmosphere among project teams, collaborating with Risk Managers, and facilitating routine risk workshops. Risk reporting and documentation are also critical components of this role, including developing and maintaining risk logs, monthly status reporting, and Steering Committee reporting.

To succeed in this position, you will possess advanced knowledge of technology risk, experience in project risk management, and the ability to work with senior stakeholders. A background in IT Infrastructure is beneficial, as is the ability to produce insightful risk reports and build stakeholder relationships at a senior level.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. They will be able to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
