Indigo Program Management Role

The role of Assistant Director, Indigo Program Management is a critical position within the Enterprise Transformation Group (ETG). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a small team of APS and specialists in the provision of risk management, benefits management, program planning, and reporting activities.

The Assistant Director, Indigo Program Management will work closely with the Indigo and ETG leadership teams to ensure that work tasks are of high quality and completed on time. This role involves facilitating strategic activities for the Program, requiring engagement with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a small team of APS and specialists in risk management, benefits management, program planning, and reporting activities.
  • Providing high-level support to the Assistant Commissioner and Directors.
  • Preparing and reviewing high-level documentation, analysis, and advice.
  • Facilitating strategic activities for the Program, including engagement with internal stakeholders.
  • Managing recruitment, performance, development, team communication, and ensuring a safe and diverse work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of risk management and/or benefits management methodologies in a program or project management environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate information to a range of audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience in managing quality assurance (writing, editing, proof reading) of high volumes of correspondence, briefs, and reports.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to work with colleagues to achieve outcomes.
  • Analysis and investigative skills, gathering information from a variety of sources, exploring new ideas, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and identifying any critical gaps.
  • Experience effectively managing competing priorities and strategic directions, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and respond flexibly to change and uncertainty.
