Job Title: Director of Operations

Our organisation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Director of Operations. This position will play a key part in overseeing the operational programs of our organisation, including event management, volunteer coordination, and liaison between Convenors and the Executive.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be passionate about supporting young people's voices and promoting civics education.

We are looking for someone who can work effectively with volunteers, plan and execute events across Tasmania, and maintain an operations calendar. If you have a keen interest in event management and are able to contribute to the success of our organisation, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operational programs, including event management and volunteer coordination.
  • Act as liaison between Convenors and the Executive.
  • Plan and execute events across Tasmania.
  • Maintain an operations calendar.
  • Work effectively with volunteers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • No prior experience needed, however any experience is welcomed.
  • Passion for supporting young people's voices and promoting civics education.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
