Job Title: Senior Midwifery Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Midwife to provide comprehensive clinical care to women accessing our Continuity of Midwifery Care service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical care to women accessing the Continuity of Midwifery Care service, utilising knowledge and skills to address their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Promote health education and prevention strategies to empower women to make informed decisions about their reproductive health.
Selection Criteria:
  • Certification as a Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated expertise in midwifery practice, with a focus on evidence-based care and continuous professional development
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing to policy development, quality improvement initiatives, and research projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals
