Team Leader - Food Service

About Us:

We are a leading provider of independent living, aged care and home care services in Australia.

  • We operate over 40 communities and home care service hubs across NSW, the ACT and Qld.

This role is based at our Aged Care Centers at IRT Dalmeny.

About the Role:

The Team Leader - Food Service will be responsible for leading the planning, ordering and preparation of all meals and light refreshments to ensure residents enjoy a quality food experience.

You will lead a team of hospitality employees, mentoring and supervising them to achieve excellent performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, mentoring and supervising hospitality employees
  • Responsibility for the planning, ordering and overseeing the preparation of all meals (complying with resident dietary requirements)
  • Ensuring food safety documentation is complete and that all work practices meet HACCP requirements
  • Participating in the recruitment, selection and orientation of team members in line with our policies and procedures
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Certificate IV in Hospitality (or similar)
  • Certificate IV in Leadership & Management (or willingness to obtain)
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
