Job Role

The role of Assistant Financial Accountant is a crucial part in delivering high-quality general accounting services. Key responsibilities include timely delivery and compliance with group policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Processes: Support financial processes, including journal entries, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and preparation of management, statutory, and regulatory reports.
  • Reporting: Deliver monthly reporting packs, assist with accounting queries, and provide insights and resolutions for transactional and process issues.
  • Audit Compliance: Assist with internal and external audits, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and contribute to the preparation of group statutory accounts.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes, policies, and procedures, including fixed asset management and inter-company transactions.
Requirements:
  • Candidates Profile: Currently studying Accounting and/or working towards CA/CPA.
  • Experience: 1–2 years' experience in an assistant accounting role.
  • Skills: Proficient in Oracle, TM1, and Excel.
  • Potential Candidates: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication and a collaborative mindset.
