We are seeking casual Support Care Specialists.
As a Support Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals from diverse backgrounds. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, toileting, and dressing.
- Administering prescribed medications.
- Facilitating mobility through the use of hoists and slide sheets.
- Performing household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Encouraging community involvement by accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, and recreational activities.
This position is well-suited for individuals who:
- Can work flexible hours on a rotating schedule, as we provide 24/7 support, allowing for more available shifts.
- Are available for overnight and weekend shifts.
- Possess strong communication skills and are committed to delivering exceptional service.
- Are attentive listeners capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
- Remain calm and confident in various situations while understanding the importance of maintaining professional boundaries.
- Can provide personal care with dignity and respect for our clients.

Before starting, you will need:
- A current First Aid and CPR certification.
- A Blue Card (Working with Children Card).
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- A commitment to infection control measures, including the use of PPE as required.
- A smartphone with an iOS 13.0 or higher or an Android 6.0 or higher operating system.
