Chef Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced culinary professional to lead our kitchen and elevate our menu offerings. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our chefs to create exceptional dishes that showcase our passion for food.


Compensation Package


The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $75,000 per annum, plus superannuation benefits.


About the Role


In this executive culinary director position, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, plating, and presentation. You will also maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict health and safety standards.


As part of our team, you will assist with inventory management and ordering, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of new menu ideas, working closely with our chef de cuisine.


Requirements and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial kitchens, preferably holding a Certificate 4 in Commercial Cookery. A strong passion for food, coupled with a desire to continuously learn and improve, is essential.


You should possess excellent teamwork and communication skills, as well as a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results are also crucial in this position.
