Job Title: Wealth Management

Our client, a leading Private Wealth Manager, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wealth Management Desk Assistant to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional support to Private Client Advisors and their clients in a high-volume, time-critical environment.
  • Distribute new account documents and notifications to clients, reviewing forms for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assign account numbers and provide completed new account forms to Private Client Advisers after management approval.
  • Arrange and assist with CHESS and sponsorship, off-market, broker-to-broker, and issuer-to-CHESS transfers of client documents.
  • Authorise access and respond to client queries regarding website access.
  • Coordinate Initial Public Offering allocations and applicable client documentation.
  • Liaise with back-office and share registries regarding client and PCA enquiries.
  • Coordinate client seminars, conferences, and presentations.
  • Maintain account files and undertake regular follow-up on missing documents.
  • Process and monitor stock settlements, including follow-up with clients regarding outstanding funds.
  • Participate in department cross-training as required.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Degree qualified within a banking-related discipline.
  • Prior Equity client services, Desk Assistant, or Wealth Management operations experience required.
  • Ideally RG146 qualified.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight time frames within a team.
  • Goal-oriented with demonstrated drive and initiative.
