Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team as the Allied Health Department Head. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of quality services in dietetics to patients/clients across the region.

About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to lead a small regional team, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
  • The role requires strong leadership and clinical skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage caseloads effectively.
  • The successful candidate will have experience in participating in clinical research and knowledge of the research process.
  • A current unrestricted drivers licence and willingness to drive/travel as required are essential for this role.

  • Leading the delivery of quality services in dietetics to patients/clients across the region.
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient care.
  • Prioritizing and managing caseloads effectively.
  • Participating in clinical research and knowledge of the research process.

Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following selection criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia (DA).
  • Demonstrated highly proficient written, verbal, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Extensive knowledge, clinical proficiency and ability to work collaboratively and lead a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and organise dietetics caseloads across a small regional team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and leading implementation of evidence-based practice.
  • Demonstrated experience in participating in clinical research and knowledge of the research process.
  • Demonstrated high level problem solving and project management skills.
