Electrical Systems Engineer Opportunity in Australia

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team in Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on challenging projects, contribute to the growth of our energy team, and develop your technical leadership skills.

About the Role

As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for managing delivery, verifying detailed design, and monitoring project measures to ensure on-time, under-budget, high-quality delivery to our clients. You will also work closely with our multidisciplinary team of engineers in a client-facing role, fostering and developing relationships with various stakeholders.

You will have the flexibility to work independently on projects while working closely with major client accounts. Prior involvement in delivery of detailed scope and specifications, detailed design, review sign-off, report writing, and relay configurations is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as Technical Lead on projects, managing delivery, verifying detailed design, and monitoring project measures.
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team of engineers in a client-facing role, fostering and developing relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the team and senior leadership to develop innovative solutions to our clients, assisting with bids, tenders, and business development activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar) with RPEV (or equivalent) or the ability to obtain.
  • Evidence of technical competency and project leadership experience in secondary system projects alongside a detailed knowledge of secondary systems and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently on projects while working closely with major client accounts.
  • Prior involvement in delivery of detailed scope and specifications, detailed design, review sign-off, report writing, and relay configurations.

We offer a competitive salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
