Project Controls Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee project controls across large-scale energy infrastructure builds, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing cost and schedule control systems, tools, and reporting frameworks to drive informed decision-making.
  • Establishing robust WBS/CBS structures, budgets, and baseline schedules in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Driving monthly reporting cycles including earned value analysis, forecasts, and performance dashboards to facilitate strategic planning.
  • Overseeing change control processes and assessing impacts on time and cost to minimize disruptions.
  • Interfacing closely with commercial, contracts, and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Maintaining project risk registers and proactively managing exposure to mitigate potential risks.
  • Leading a team of planners, cost controllers, and document controllers across multiple disciplines to foster a culture of excellence.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing project controls on large infrastructure projects.
  • Contractor-side experience in energy, utilities, or industrial D&C builds with a strong understanding of cost engineering, schedule integration, and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6, Power BI, and advanced Excel tools (Power Query, Pivot etc) to drive data-driven insights.
  • Relevant qualifications in accounting, engineering, or project controls with a focus on leadership and commercial acumen.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
