Marketplace Director | Media Buying Specialist

About the Role
The Marketplace team at Wavemaker is responsible for delivering exceptional Implementation Planning and Buying services, spanning offline and online media types, powered by data, technology, and automation. This role requires a strong understanding of the media landscape, including traditional and online media, and the ability to lead the direction, workflow, and quality of Implementation Planning and Buying for the client team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Implementation Planning and Buying specialists
- Develop and implement effective media strategies
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience in Implementation Planning and Buying
- Strong media landscape knowledge
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Results-driven and passionate about delivering business results for clients

- Established collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong understanding of the agency and group proposition, core Marketplace processes, and our way of working
- Immersion in the team with an understanding of the status of all active and upcoming campaigns
