Ore Preparation Specialist

We're seeking a skilled and dedicated Charge Up Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you'll be responsible for the safe preparation and setup of charges in ore stopes and development headings.

Fulfilling Shotfirer and Dangerous Goods handling statutory obligations is also an essential part of this role. Additionally, you'll need to ensure re-entries are done according to procedures, hole casing as required, and comply with any additional or alternative responsibilities assigned by your Supervisor.

This position requires strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team environment. You'll also need to demonstrate a commitment to promoting a safe work environment at all times.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous Charge Up experience
  • A valid shot firing certification
  • A Dangerous Goods Security Card
  • The ability to work a 7:7 roster (12 hour days and nights)
  • A current 'C' Class Western Australian Drivers Licence
