About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Palliative Care Physician to join our team at CC Medical. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist palliative care services to patients, ensuring the provision of appropriate patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist palliative care services to patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide professional leadership within a specialist medical area.
  • Provide training, education, and supervision to medical students, junior medical staff, and other healthcare providers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of palliative care services and programs.

Our hospital is a level 2 hospital with 354 beds, offering a range of medical specialties, including respiratory, nephrology, neurology, endocrine, rheumatology, and oncology. Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • General and specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority (Medical Board of Australia).
  • Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) with specialized skills, knowledge, and clinical competence in the area of palliative care.
  • FRACP in Palliative Medicine or FAChPM.
