As a Palliative Care Physician, you will be expected to provide specialist palliative care services to patients as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the provision of appropriate patient care. In addition, you will provide professional leadership within a specialist medical area and provide training, education, and supervision to medical students, junior medical staff, and other healthcare providers.

The Specialist Palliative Care Service (SPCS) provides palliative care support to inpatients, outpatient clinics, and a community program to assist patients and carers in their own home within a 45km radius. Specialist palliative care support in other locations is provided by the Specialist Palliative Care Rural Telehealth Service.

Your team will consist of a registrar trainee, nurses, and allied health staff. You will be able to demonstrate professional leadership within a specialist medical area and make available training, education, and supervision to medical students, junior medical staff, and other healthcare providers.

Mandatory Qualifications:
