Your OpportunityThis role is based in Southport at a modern medical centre located within Gold Coast city, offering state-of-the-art facilities and experienced doctors.
The Family Clinic Southport provides bulk billing for children under 12 and offers a range of health services including General Medicine, Aged Care, Chronic Disease Management, Skin Cancer Checks and Excisions, Men's Health, Family Planning, Travel Medicine, Women's and Children's Health, Antenatal Shared Care, Musculoskeletal Interventions and Sports Medicine.
About the Clinic- Fully operational 6 days a week
- Saturdays are from 9am – 1pm and privately billed
- Pathology open Mon – Fri 8:30am -12:30pm
- Guaranteed hourly rate for 3 months
- Located near the city waterfront and recreational parklands
- Ample onsite parking
- Pharmacy onsite
- Opportunity to work in other Bupa Medical Centres as they open
The GP will need to either bring a patient case load or be prepared to work on building the patient base. If you have a firm interest in PRP and MSK, this would be beneficial to the patient base. If you love a healthy challenge, then this is the opportunity for you to transform the centre and support the people of Southport.
Job Description- Providing primary healthcare services, diagnosing and treating various illnesses and injuries.
- Conducting routine screenings and providing advice on preventative care measures; referring patients to specialists or other healthcare professionals as required;
- Educating patients about health issues and providing advice on how to manage their ongoing health;
- Ensuring continuity of care for all patients and aiding them to utilise their services to the best of their ability.
Apart from being a busy clinic with lots of patients to care for, the best thing about this practice is the cohesive and connected team.
