Chief Data Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled APS5 Privacy Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the coordination of Agency responses in relation to Privacy related complaints and incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the coordination of Agency responses in relation to Privacy related complaints and incidents.
- Preparing and contributing to a range of briefing materials for Ministers, Board papers, media releases, reports to Parliamentary committees, and correspondence.
- Administrative management of new systems, processes, and practical tools including training to support Privacy handling and awareness.
- Preparation of communication material to enhance Agency awareness of Privacy.
- Preparation of Privacy reporting for management and executive, and feedback relating to identified trends.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong clerical, administrative, and operational tasks, preparing and contributing to a range of briefing materials for Ministers, Board papers.
