About the Role

We are seeking a bright and enthusiastic School Age Customer Assistant to join our team at Ten Tops. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of merchandising and presentation standards, and working collaboratively with our team to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to our valued clients, efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain a high level of merchandising and presentation standards with your work area at all times.
  • Stock, replenish and rotate shelves and displays, ensuring rotation is paramount.
  • Operate and balance cash register, handling customer transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist with product selection as required, providing recommendations to customers.
  • Clean and maintain the store environment, including the floor, shelves, and displays.
  • Follow instructions of managers at all times, and be proactive in seeking feedback and guidance.
Requirements
  • Keen to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible hours, as required.
  • High presentation standards, with a focus on maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
