Engineering Program Director

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to lead our engineering program. As a Program Leader, you will play a key role in program coordination, compliance, scheduling, team development, and stakeholder engagement.
Your responsibilities will include providing educational leadership across the engineering delivery area, coordinating teaching operations including timetables, workloads, and resources, supporting staff performance, development, and team cohesion, overseeing compliance with Training & Assessment Strategies (TAS) and audit requirements, engaging with industry to validate and strengthen program relevance, and monitoring budgets and contributing to planning for financial sustainability.
- Provide Educational Leadership: Lead and support a diverse team of teachers across multiple campuses, ensuring high-quality education and training outcomes.
- Coordinate Teaching Operations: Manage timetables, workloads, and resources to ensure efficient and effective delivery of programs.
- Support Staff Performance: Foster a culture of excellence, supporting staff development and team cohesion.
- Oversee Compliance: Ensure compliance with TAS and audit requirements, maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity.
- Engage with Industry: Build relationships with industry partners to validate and strengthen program relevance, ensuring our graduates are job-ready.
You will have a strong understanding of RTO compliance and vocational education policy, as well as excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
The successful candidate will possess relevant trade qualifications in engineering, fabrication or locksmithing, TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and experience in VET delivery, ideally in a coordination or leadership capacity.
In addition, you will need a valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check and a National Police Check.
