The Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Field Service team in the Canberra ACT region. This exciting opportunity will see you providing diagnostic, repair and maintenance services to our customer's equipment in the Canberra and surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing onsite technical support on Hitachi equipment including diagnostics, repair and maintenance
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our customers
  • Ensuring work areas are always kept tidy with all relevant documentation complete and submitted on time
  • Conducting work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic)
  • Previous experience as a heavy diesel mechanic
  • OEM equipment experience highly regarded
  • Current driver's license
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issues
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette
  • An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures
