We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Parks and Gardens Apprentice.

  • This is a fantastic opportunity for school leavers and juniors to develop their skills and gain practical experience in the field of parks and gardens.
About the Role:

As a Parks and Gardens Apprentice, you will be working full-time (38 hours per week) while studying a Certificate III in Parks and Gardens. You will be gaining experience in the workplace with one of our host employers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain plant displays
  • Cultivate turf, install irrigation and drainage systems
  • Control weeds, pests, and diseases
  • Perform operational maintenance of machinery
  • Provide information on plants, products, and treatments
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Be eligible to complete an apprenticeship
  • Be well-presented, enthusiastic, reliable, and punctual
  • Be motivated with a positive attitude
  • Hold a drivers license and have own transport (preferred)

Working Conditions:
