Electrical Maintenance Technician for FMCG Manufacturing

Grove Juice, a leading Australian family-owned fruit processor, is seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to support the expansion of their operations at their Mansfield site in Brisbane. As an Electrical Fitter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery and equipment.
Job OverviewFuse Recruitment specializes in recruitment for the manufacturing industry and has partnered with Grove Juice to find the ideal candidate for this permanent position. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced FMCG environment, Monday to Friday, 10 PM to 6 AM.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annumThe salary range is based on national averages for Electrical Fitters in similar roles and locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulations, particularly in food manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure machinery is running efficiently during shifts.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation for all equipment repairs and servicing.
- Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (Fittings) Trade Qualification Mandatory
- Dual trade qualifications would be highly regarded.
- Proven experience in the FMCG sector is preferred.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg occasionally.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance, particularly in a food manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
